Erin Audrain, PA-C, MPAS
Erin Audrain, PA-C, MPAS, joined Summit Orthopedic Specialists in March 2008 as a physician assistant with more than five years of clinical and surgical orthopedic experience. After earning his master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences, Audrain worked at a sports and orthopedic group in Minnesota. He was named lead physician assistant after only six months with SOS.
Audrain sincerely listens to his patients’ concerns and offers detailed explanations of their treatment options, taking an interest in each individual case. Audrain says he enjoys the individual challenges of joint replacement surgeries and helping people return to their active lives. He is an active person himself and enjoys hiking and spending time at the beach with his wife and daughter.

Michael S. Denton, MPT, PA-C
Michael Denton, MPT, PA-C, joined Summit Orthopedic Specialists in 2004 as a physician assistant. He earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of California at San Francisco, and his Physician Assistant Certificate from Stanford University Medical Center. After working as a physical therapist, Denton wanted to help patients even more and became a certified physician assistant. He is also a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
As a physician assistant, Denton is kind and caring, always making sure he can offer his patients the best possible care. He says he enjoys being able to fix broken parts and helping patients get back to their normal activities. In his spare time, Denton enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.

Nathan L. Nicolet, PA-C
Nathan L. Nicolet, PA-C, joined Summit Orthopedic Specialists in 2008 after a year of clinical training in a range of different specialties in facilities throughout California and Nevada. His experience as a sports rehab specialist and semi-professional soccer player were the inspiration for becoming a physician assistant, both of which bring special knowledge to the orthopedic practice.
Nicolet received his master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. He is a licensed physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He enjoys taking an active role in his patients’ treatment and uses his previous skills and experience to provide specialized care.

Michael Outslay, PA-C
Michael Outslay, PA-C, joined Summit Orthopedic Specialists in 2011 as a physician assistant with nearly a decade of clinical and orthopedic surgical experience. After earning his master’s degree in medical science from St. Louis University, he moved to Colorado to work in orthopedics and sports medicine. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in sports medicine, knee and shoulder surgery, and orthopedic trauma.
Outslay went into orthopedics because of his interest in sports medicine. As a lifelong athlete, he enjoys helping people who are dealing with many of the injuries he has faced over the years. In his spare time, he enjoys running, biking and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Sean Paquette, PA-C, ATC
Sean Paquette, PA-C, ATC, joined Summit Orthopedic Specialists in 2011 as a physician assistant with experience in general orthopedics and sports medicine. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer and earned his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Southern California. After graduation, Paquette worked in an orthopedic practice in Washington and helped develop a strong sports medicine division within the practice.
While he is especially experienced in working with high school and college athletes, he sees patients of all ages with a variety of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. Paquette is also trained in ImPACT, a computerized concussion evaluation system. As a former college athlete, he enjoys helping people understand their diagnosis and treatment options and getting them back to the activities they love quickly and safely.
