Summit Supports Arthritis Foundation

Summit Orthopedic Specialists participated in the Greater Sacramento Valley Arthritis Walk on May 5, raising funds and awareness to fight arthritis. Raising more than $2,300, Summit was among the top 10 teams in dollars raised for the event, which started at the West Steps of the California State Capitol.

The Arthritis Foundation is the leading health organization addressing the needs of 50 million Americans living with arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability. Walk participants became part of the Arthritis Foundation’s Let’s Move Together, a nationwide movement that encourages people to be physically active to help ease joint pain, improve mobility and reduce fatigue.

Summit is dedicated to Saving Lifestyles by  providing the most advanced and individualized care needed to achieve the highest level of function and health. It is proud to support the Arthritis Foundation’s efforts to prevent arthritis and improve the health of those living with the disease.
